Jones Supply A.I. Sales & Service, Inc. is a family owned and operated business founded by Jerry Jones in the 1980’s. Located in Okeechobee, FL, we serve customers throughout Central and South Florida. We have three generations working, but you’ll often find four generations of our family hanging around the warehouse.
The first Jones Supply warehouse was at the old train station in the middle of town, holding only a few tons of ADM Animal Nutrition feed in stock. We moved to a few different warehouses before opening our current storefront in 2009. Prior to, we mainly focused on deliveries of feed and liquid nitrogen. In 2011, we introduced Triple Crown and Southern States, which greatly opened our sales to a variety of different customers.
Jones Supply continues to make it's mark and truly represents each parent company like ABS Global, Inc and ADM Animal Nutrition. When it comes to ABS Global, we are one of the largest reps in the Eastern Division. For ADM Animal Nutrition Jones Supply sets the bar in the Southeast United States. Currently the Largest Dealer/Distributor in the Southeast, and the one of the top 4 dealers in the country for Equine Sales.
Former owner Jerry Jones grew up in Iowa on dairy and beef farms, moved around and has since retired from Jones Supply after being awarded for becoming the first to sell 1.5 million units of semen with ABS Global. While serving as the owner of Jones Supply, he was also on the Independent Representatives Association Board for ABS Global. Jerry can still be found at the store building picnic benches, gliders and cages.
In 1964, Jerry took an AI Management Course and became a rep for ABS Global in 1969 while living in NW Iowa. He worked as a beef and dairy farmer while running Jones & Sons, and still managed to be ranked in the top 5 for beef and dairy sales. ABS brought Jerry to Los Banos, CA and eventually transferred him to Okeechobee, FL where he started Jones Supply.
Jeff Jones, who is known mostly as Jonesy, bred his first cow at the age six. He worked on the family farm until he moved to California in 1985 to be a feed supervisor and assistant herdsmen. Jeff took over a 20-year break to proudly serve his country in the US Army. Following retirement, he moved his family to Okeechobee in 2006. Jonesy has since taken over Jones Supply and grew what once was a warehouse only offering deliveries to a retail store that is busy and active 6 days a week. Jeff is currently the Chairman for the Authorized Representatives Association for ABS Global, Inc, representing all the independent reps in the South/Southeast US.
